On to 2011

I hope these holidays find you all well and in good spirits. Since we’re in the end of 2010, I would like to say farewell to what has been a whirlwind year. Between touring with the Timucin Sahin Trio in Bodrum, Turkey, Dapp Theory’s North America Tour, DBR & The MISSION in China, Pavel Fajt’s Slet Bubeníků 2010 Tour in Czech Republic, and Jorge Sylvester’s A.C.E. Collective in Austria, it has been an eye opening and life changing year. But I’m sure  that 2011 will prove to be just as adventurous and eye opening.

I’ll be ending the year with long time cohort, Daniel Bernard Roumain, aka DBR, at Albany’s Egg theater. We will be playing along side Tap Dancer extraordinaire, Savion Glover. Following this will be a performance with Washington Heights Freak-Poppers, Hollands at the Cake Shop in NYC. I’ll also be traveling back to Turkey with Timucin Sahin to perform and record with his quartet, as well as work with his New Music group, The Occult Ensemble. Also in the mix, NYC Melodic/Progressive Death Metaler’s HUNG will be releasing their full length early this year and have also been included in MetalSucks’ NYC Sucks: Volume One, a compilation of some of New York City’s best underground acts. This will be available on January 18th as a digital download, so I will keep you all posted on that.

So on this note, I hope your transition into 2011 is a smooth ride and thanks for checking in.
