Keeping Busy, Moving Forward

Hello All,

I hope this day finds you in good spirits and in good health! To give you all the heads up here’s a bit of news…

For the remainder of this month, I’ll be working on finishing up the mixing for the upcoming Hung album. It’s coming along amazingly and for those of you who may have not heard my work in metal before, or for those of you in the North East US area who have, you will be pleasantly surprised with the result. We made sure that no Sound Replacing or Triggering took place in Any aspect of the recording and the results speak for themselves. More on that as the mixing process comes to a close. We will also be performing at the infamous New England Metal and Hardcore Festival this year, going on at Noon on Saturday, April 16th. If you plan on going, please come out and support our set. We will be there all weekend so feel free to reach out, hang, and bang your head to the music with us.

Along with this, Nuriya Almaya, La Tanita, will be hosting a CD Release party at the end of the month at the illustrious Joe’s Pub Theater. ┬áIf you haven’t heard her before, she is definitely worth giving a listen to. A multi-international talent, her music is a blend of Tango, Salsa, Funk, Reggae, and just about anything else you can think of, complimented with some of NYC’s finest young musicians on the scene.

NYC ‘sSocial-politico Violin Driven Post Thrash Metaller’s (say that just twice fast) Resolution 15 will be going back in the studio to record a couple of our new songs, as well as some other big news/plans that are currently in the works, so check out the pages to see what’s coming down the pipe for Res15!

Jorge Sylvester is also working on finishing up the album we’ve just recorded in Austria, so that should be available sometime this summer, along with some touring, so stay tuned for more info on Jorge Sylvester’s Afro-Caribbean Collective.

I’ll be making another appearance with Felix Pastorius’ Hipster Assassins, playing along with the Bendy Brothers and Chris Ward. The group plays every Monday night @930PM at Zinc Bar, and I’m honored that they have called me back to sub for them these last several weeks. I hope you can make it out if you’re in the NYC area as these guys seriously throw down with a unique yet severe brand of funk fusion.

For those of you who came out to the last two Richard Padron Trio performances at Nublu, my humblest thanks. The shows came out great and attendance was better than hoped for! We will be returning to Nublu once we secure some new bookings, as well as with our regular stint with The Ze Luis Quartet on February 23rd, 930PM, opening for Forro In The Dark.

Feel free to check out the Itinerary Section for upcoming tour dates and I hope to see and hear from you very soon.
